The weight of the gold that a piece of jewelry contains or the diamonds that make it up are not the only criteria to take into account when valuing your piece of jewelry. The time, the way or even the manufacturer or brand that marketed the jewel are fundamental. Art-Deco jewelry is, for example, sought after by collectors and certain manufacturers, unknown to the general public, can significantly increase the price of a piece of jewelry that appears rather classic to the untrained eye.

The careful expertise that we carry out takes all of these elements into account. Once estimated, we can make you a purchase or consignment offer or even suggest that you submit them to auction if this is relevant.

We are particularly looking for old chains and links from the 19th and 20th centuries. Typical 19th century jewelry such as fine stone jewelry from the beginning of the century, French and Italian neo-antique jewelry from the 1850s to 1870s or even quality productions from the Napoleon III period and the very end of the century. Art Nouveau jewelry with marked curves and floral decorations as well as Belle-Époque and Art-Deco jewelry, Modernist jewelry and the platinum prowess of the jewelers of this period. We also want to acquire vintage jewelry from major French workshops and Place Vendôme houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron or Hermès. Finally, we like to have diamonds and precious stones in our collections, mainly old cuts and gems from exhausted emerald or sapphire mines.
