The story of ignée Paris

Ignée!

Before loving jewelry, we love objects for what they are; fragments, companions which contain an individual or collective memory.

When objects are intended to be more than tools serving a purpose, they become objects of art and jewelry is the art object par excellence. It is the meeting of drawing and technique, a play of contrast between the shine and the colors of the materials. It is the summary of an era as a jewel is stylistically but also in the spirit that it exudes emblematic of its time. Finally, what makes jewelry fascinating is that it alone has to be intrinsically and symbolically precious.
He exudes scandal and sensuality.

We could have just loved jewelry, but we are also merchants. This word, so common, accepted and understood in our profession, is almost obsolete today.
If in fact, the term merchant designates someone who trades, in our professions it means a broader reality. A merchant goes on a perpetual quest, is always on the lookout for the next item and sees his jewels go into other hands with a touch of bitterness. He feeds on the beauty of what passes through his hands, is privileged but sometimes experiences his job as a burden, a priesthood. He believes he is “losing the fire” in order to find it better. A merchant never stops, never retires, pretends to take a vacation when the market stops and counts the days waiting for it to resume.

There is no standard path to doing this job, other than having a close family member who did it before you, which is clearly not our case. Eva has a Master's degree in Mathematics from Paris Dauphine University, is a graduate of Essec and has worked in venture capital funds. Emanuel studied at the Reims Business School and then did management and organizational consulting for CAC 40 companies.

Although we could have done many other things, we did this job by vocation. We decided to start together, to explore the auction rooms, to train in Antwerp for diamonds and at the Boulle School for colored stones and jewelry.

Finally, as time takes its course, we are happy to present to you a selection of charming jewelry. Whether it's the must-have or the touch of fantasy that's missing from your outfits, the jewelry we present has a common denominator; each of them has something .

Now that you know a little more about us, we are waiting for you at 18, Passage Molière in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. You can also call us, write to us or contact us on social networks, we will always be happy to welcome you.
