1960s Shell Bangle in Yellow Gold and Diamonds

Hinged bangle in 750/1000 yellow gold with fan-shaped gadrooned decoration, the upper part adorned with a band set with brilliant-cut diamonds of very fine quality (F VS) weighing approximately 1.4 carats. French work from the 1960s made by the MAX (MUSCATELLI) workshops in Cannes. This piece comes from the collection of the GAUCHERAND jewellery house, founded in Nice in the early 20th century and present in Paris on Place Vendôme in the 1920s as well as in Vichy, then solely in Cannes since the 1960s. French work from the 1960s. Eagle's head hallmark and maker's mark of Max (M M and a flag).
