BECKER Vintage religious medal in yellow gold depicting the Angelus

18k (750°/°°) gold medal featuring the Angelus. The Becker Angelus medal is a great classic designed to recall the prayer of the same name commemorating the Annunciation. “Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariæ” (the Angel of the Lord brought the Announcement to Mary). The medal features a shaped bell surrounded by 4 angels ringing the Angelus, all topped with a divine star. Medal signed BECKER lower right. French work from the 1940s. Presence of the eagle's head hallmark and the Becker maker's hallmark.
