Antique Hunting Cigarette Box in Metal, Gold and Sapphire

Very interesting metal cigarette box with gunmetal patina and 18k (750°/°) gold. The cigarette box is decorated with a hunting scene on its upper part. A finely chiselled gold dog is represented running hares, also in gold and of good quality carving. The clasp is 18k gold and sapphire cabochon.
The inside of the box is marked Tom Savell from Gertrude Mavor 1899. Probably English work from the end of the 19th century.
