Art-Nouveau Becker “Gallia Victrix” medal in yellow gold

Gallia Victrix oval medal in 18k (750°/°°) yellow gold representing the face of the victorious Gaulle helmeted, laureated and decorated with the French rooster in a foliage decoration. The medal is captioned “GALLIA VICTRIX”. On the reverse, the medal is decorated with a torch and a spear in a vegetal decoration.

Medal signed Becker. Edmond Becker is an important French medalist. He won a gold medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition at the Boucheron stand.
Presence of the eagle's head hallmark for the 18-carat gold and traces of Edouard Becker's maker's hallmark.
