Pair of Yellow Gold Drop Hoop Earrings

Pair of convertible drop hoop earrings, known as door knocker earrings, in 18k (750/1000) yellow gold. The earrings are formed by a gadrooned upper part in the Art Deco taste which can be worn alone. A slightly graduated oval lower part can also be attached, ending in a gadrooned section echoing the upper motif. Day and night earrings are a classic of convertible jewellery. Vintage French work from the 1980s. Eagle's head hallmark for 18k gold and maker's mark ( Y Y and an L in a triangle).
